Summer in Detroit: The Joy of a Water Fountain

To be a child

Is to be full of joy

To see the wonder in everything

To run towards that fun

With all their heart

Never worried for a moment

That it might end one day

To be a child

Is to truly be happy

I become that child again

When I see my daughter

Running and jumping

For the simple joy of a water fountain!
